When it came to writing for this blog, I was trying to be perfect. I was trying to create a blog that was perfectly styled with perfect content and it wasn’t working and I was unhappy. I didn’t always feel connected to the blog and was uninspired and tired of trying to be perfect. I fell deep in that pit of comparison and was looking at other blogs thinking I needed to do what they’re doing. My content and post needed to look a certain way as if to say that my quirky, messy self wasn’t enough. That who I am, a girl who loves to sing way to loud, who indulges in superhero television shows and way too many sweets isn’t someone you’d like to know.
Well, today I wanted to change this. Today I want you to get to know me and the things that inspire me to create delightful gifts and paper goods for Scratch Paper Studio and more about me. I’d also like to get to know more about you too and what inspires you as well so don’t be shy, say hello, leave a comment, I really do want to hear from you.
Now, the pretty styled photos will stay but the content on this blog is going to change. I want the post to be more intentional and this blog space become a live journal and inspirational space while still talking about the shop too. I’m hitting the restart button on this blog and kicking comparison and perfect to the curb and welcoming you to whatever this space will be come. I hope you’ll join me.
