At the beginning of the year I shared a list of books I was looking to read this year. I have to be honest so far I’ve only read one. Even with an already full list of books to read and not much time left in 2016 (because October is flying by), I’ve added two more to the list. Crazy I know, but I just received one of the books and have ordered the other and I can’t wait to dive in. The first one is Grace Not Perfection: Embracing Simplicity, Celebrating Joy by Emily Ley.
I preordered this book and just received it in the mail. I’ve just started reading the book and I’m loving what I’ve read so far. More than that I love how there are points where I get to write down my own thoughts, making this book interactive and engaging immediately. I feel like this is a book I’ll read again years later and it will be interesting to compare my thoughts.
The next book I’ve ordered and can’t wait to dive into is In the Company of Women: Inspiration and Advice from over 100 Makers, Artist and Entrepreneurs.
I’ve seen a few write ups about this book but I’m so interested in reading about other women crafting a space to do what they love. Plus it’s truly inspiring to see women in spaces I may dream to be in and look at their stories and know I could do this too. I know that this will be a book that is a consistent source of inspiration to me.
Do you have either of these books? What are you thoughts so far? Leave them in the comments below I’d love to hear from you!
