Is there something you want to do but you’re afraid to do it? Have you talked yourself out of it with a series of reasons why you shouldn’t give it a try? Whether it’s signing up for a course, taking a trip or doing a new activity, stop making excuses and just do it. There is so much to be discovered about ourselves when we try something new.
We uncover skills we didn’t think we had. Learn about strengths we didn’t think existed and we meet a part of ourselves that was just waiting for us to finally step out of that comfort zone and do something outside our norm. Whether it’s something small like trying a new nail color ( like me trying black for the first time), changing your hair, or signing up for something big like a cooking course, do it. You’ll be glad you did and you’ll love learning a bit more about yourself that you didn’t know and that’s the real benefit that comes from when we step outside our comfort zones.
