While a lot of self-care is focused on doing good things for yourself, this week let’s change it up and do something nice for someone else. Pay it forward, visit a friend or family member. Send a family member a bouquet of flowers. Give someone special to you a call to check in on them or grab a bunch of fun greeting cards for your friends and/or family and send them a sweet note in the mail.
When we give to others it makes them feel special and appreciated but I’ve always believed that the biggest benefactor is the one doing the giving. It lights us up inside and taps into a place of joy sometimes we forget we have. So flex that giving muscle this weekend and pay it forward.
